About

I have a background in artificial intelligence, having completed both my bachelor's and master's degrees in AI at the University of Amsterdam. Throughout my academic journey, I've developed an interest in geometric deep learning and latent representation learning, with a strong passion for fundamental and cutting-edge AI research.

Now, I'm excited to apply my knowledge and skills to tackle the crucial challenges in cancer research as a PhD student at the AI for Oncology group. I am supervised by Eric Marcus (senior postdoc), Jonas Teuwen (group leader) and Ritse Mann (radiologist). Additionally, I work closely with Katja Pinker-Domenig (radiologist) at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.

As a PhD student, I am part of the aiEMBRACE project, which aims to transform breast cancer care by uniquely integrating AI and deep learning throughout the entire patient journey - from risk assessment and diagnosis to treatment and surveillance.
