I am coming from mathematics and computer science background and received my Master degree from Belarusian State University. During my studies and a bit after I acquired experience working as software engineer and later mid- and senior R&D software engineer for 4 years. Nevertheless, my hear brought me back to academia where I started as a PhD candidate at Eindhoven University of Technology working on fiber tractography in Diffusion MRI for neurosurgery planning of brain tumor patients. And now my postdoc is dedicated to segmentation and registration tasks for abdomen surgery navigation using CT and ultrasound.
