Andreas Panteli

PhD Candidate

Andreas Panteli is a PhD candidate at the Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI) working on towards personalised immunotherapy treatment using artificial intelligence for histo-pathological images. He obtained his Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) in 2020 (cum laude) and his Bachelor in Electrical Engineering at the Technical University of Eindhoven (TU/e) 2018 (cum laude). Currently, the work Andreas pursues is related to detecting tumour infiltrating lymphocytes in H&E stained whole slide images in breast cancer patients. He is supervised by Jonas Teuwen, Hugo Horlings and Efstratios Gavves.
