I am a highly motivated and dedicated individual with a background in mathematics and a strong interest in artificial intelligence. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Leiden University, where I also completed a minor in AI. I then pursued my Master's degree in Applied Mathematics, while continuing to take courses in AI. My passion for AI and interest in biology led me to my current role as a thesis intern in the AI for Oncology group. As a thesis intern I will work closely together with Marek Oerlemans and the subject of my thesis will be about analyzing whole-slide images to predict and quantify risk of ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) using deep learning.
