About
I hold a master's degree in bioinformatics, specializing in computer science from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. After graduation, I spend a year in Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences (SUND), University of Copenhagen as a machine learning engineer, focusing on developing machine learning and deep learning algorithms for single cell haplotyping and copy number aberration detection.
In December 2020, I started my PhD at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. My research is about developing novel deep learning algorithms using medical imaging and clinical reports to active monitor patients with rectal cancer. Specifically, my study is centered on the implementation of automated rectal tumour segmentation models , the neoadjuvant treatment outcome prediction network for watch-and-wait patients with imaging, and survival analysis with language models using clinical reports.
