Cardiac MRI Reconstruction Winners at CMRxRecon Challenge

The AI for Oncology group at The Netherlands Cancer Institute achieved remarkable success at the Cardiac MRI Reconstruction (CMRxRecon) challenge during MICCAI 2023. In a competition featuring over 210 teams from 22 countries, we proudly secured the 2nd position in both tasks of the challenge. Our winning approach, titled "Deep Cardiac MRI Reconstruction using ADMM," introduces a high-speed 2D dynamic reconstruction method for cardiac MRI utilizing our state-of-the-art method vSHARP. This method can reconstruct 4D volumes of multi-coil k-spaces in just 2-15 seconds, enabling faster cardiac imaging.
